The little known “Chinese Goblet Escape” is an amazing illusion for platform, parlor or smaller venues.
A chain is looped around a wine glass and placed into a solid cherry case. The chain is passed through a small opening in the front of the door and the door latched. The cabinet is locked. And the chain passes through the glass stem and is pulled out of the opening. The door is opened and the wine glass and chain are still intact.
